How the catalogue is built

Product data comes from each store's own product feed and search pages, plus a hand-checked seed catalogue. Where a store blocks automated reads we show no price at all and link you to the store instead — a labelled empty cell beats a stale number.

Matching is deliberately conservative: a product is only shown across stores when the titles, brand and category agree closely. Where we cannot confirm a match, the product appears with fewer stores rather than a guessed comparison.

What PriceWise will never do

• Sell a rank. The order on every page is the arithmetic of listed price plus shipping. No store can buy a higher position, and no store can pay to have a competitor removed.
• Show a paid slot. There is no promoted card and no “featured” placement anywhere on the site.
• Invent a price. If a store blocks automated reads, the product page says so and links you there. We never fill the gap with an estimate.
• Take money from shoppers. The site is free to use, needs no account and never holds a payment.

What we refuse to do

• ✗ Show a struck-through MRP we cannot verify from the store's own data.
• ✗ Publish star ratings or review counts — we have no first-party reviews, so we show none.
• ✗ Add coupon codes to a ranking. Unverifiable maths is how comparison sites mislead.
• ✗ Track you. No account, no analytics profile, no cross-site pixel.

Who runs it

PriceWise India is operated as an independent publisher. The name, address and grievance contact required under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 are published on the grievance page.

Everything else — a wrong price, a missing product, a broken link, a data request — goes to support@pricewiseindia.com, read by a person within two working days. Corrections and data questions go there too — we respond within 48 hours.

Who is behind it

PriceWise India is run from India by Pravat Kumar Pati, who is also the named Grievance Officer. Every legal, privacy and programme-compliance notice reaches him at support@pricewiseindia.com — acknowledged within 24 hours, answered within 15 days. PriceWise India is a sole proprietorship of Pravat Kumar Pati, registered for GST in Odisha under the trade name Nature Pulse, GSTIN 21AWUPP6866H1ZV (PAN AWUPP6866H). No marketplace owns or funds this site.

A note on the sample catalogue

Prices shown in a fresh installation come from the bundled seed catalogue and are clearly stale once the fetch stamp ages past 24 hours. Before using this site commercially, run a catalogue import so every figure is a real, network-reported price — see how it works.
