Privacy — we store nothing about you

1. What we do NOT collect

• ✗ No names, emails, phone numbers or addresses — there is no sign-up.
• ✗ No tracking or advertising cookies — the site sets no cookies at all on the public storefront.
• ✗ No click logs, session keys, referrer records or device fingerprints.
• ✗ No location data, and no targeted advertising directed at children (none at anyone).

2. What stays on your own device

Your product-comparison selection is saved in your browser's local storageunder a PriceWise key, and your “maybe later” choice for the install prompt in session storage. This data never leaves your device and never reaches our servers — it is not “stored” by us in any sense. Clearing your browser data removes it entirely.

3. When you leave for a store

Tapping a store link takes you to the marketplace's own website, where that company's privacy policy applies — not ours. The outbound link carries nothing about you beyond the product you were comparing.

4. The app install

PriceWise installs as a Progressive Web App — a website icon on your home screen. Installation is never automatic: it happens only when youchoose “Add to Home Screen” (or accept the browser's install prompt). The app is just the website; it requests no extra permissions and stores no personal data on our servers.

5. Notice under the DPDP Act, 2023

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 requires a notice to say what is processed, why, how to exercise your rights, how to complain to the Data Protection Board, and who answers for it. Itemised:

• •What and why: nothing on our servers for ordinary browsing. If you ask for a price alert, one email address, kept only to send that alert, stored irreversibly hashed so we cannot read it back.
• •Exercising rights: write to support@pricewiseindia.com for access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent, or nomination of another person to act for you. No form, no login.
• •Complaining to the Board: if we fail to answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India — nothing in this page removes that right.
• •Who answers: Pravat Kumar Pati, Grievance Officer, PriceWise India, at the same address, or by post at the registered office: Nizagarh Town, Talcher, Anugul, Odisha 759107, India. PriceWise India is a sole proprietorship of Pravat Kumar Pati, GSTIN 21AWUPP6866H1ZV, so the person answerable is named rather than a company. Acknowledged inside 24 hours, answered inside 15 days.

6. Your rights, named

As a Data Principal you hold six rights: to access a summary of your data, to correct or complete it, to erase it, to withdraw consent, to grievance redressal, and to nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated. Because we hold essentially nothing, most of these are answered by an email confirming the fact — but the rights exist and we will not argue with them.
