1. Who we are and what this document is

PriceWise India (“we”, “us”) operates a price comparison website at pricewiseindia.com. This page is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and does not require a physical or digital signature.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the site. The contract between us is formed under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

2. What the service is

We read prices that the marketplaces publish, add each store’s shipping, stamp every figure with the time it was fetched, and show the results side by side. That is the whole service.

We are not a marketplace, a seller, an agent, a payment intermediary, or a party to any sale. Every purchase is made on the store’s own site or app, under the store’s terms.

3. Your obligations as a user

Do not attempt to scrape, mirror or resell the site; do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it; do not upload unlawful, infringing or malicious material anywhere the site accepts input, including the review form.

Where the site lets you post a review or suggestion, you confirm it is your own honest opinion, that you have not been paid for it, and that you grant us a non-exclusive licence to publish it on the site.

4. Affiliate links are disclosed, once

Store links on this site are affiliate links. The disclosure is published in the footer under Legal & trust, expandable on click, and in full on the affiliate disclosure page. The price you pay is unchanged by it.

5. Reviews and user content

Every submission is read by a person before publication. We publish reviews rated 4 stars and above, and we keep lower ratings privately and act on them. We may decline, hide or delete content that is unlawful, abusive, promotional, or that we cannot verify.

6. Trademarks and no affiliation

Meesho, Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra, Ajio and their logos are the property of their owners and are used only to identify the store being compared. We do not display any third-party seller’s mark, and we imply no sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation.

7. Liability

The service is provided on an as-is basis. To the extent permitted by law we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, and for any loss arising from a purchase made on a third-party site.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or our liability for fraud.

8. Grievances and escalation

Complaints go to Pravat Kumar Pati, Grievance Officer, at the address published on the grievance page: acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days. Consumer disputes may also be taken to the National Consumer Helpline or a Consumer Commission.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Talcher, in the Anugul district of Odisha, have exclusive jurisdiction, the registered office being at Nizagarh Town, Talcher. Nothing in this clause takes away your right under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 to complain in the district where you live.

10. Changes

We may amend these terms. The version on this page, with its revision date, is the one that applies. Material changes will be shown on this page before they take effect.
