Consumer protection
Grievance officer
Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 requires a named Grievance Officer with published contact details, and Rule 4(5) of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 requires the same for a marketplace-facing service. Ours is below, by name and by address, at the registered office. One mailbox answers both support and formal complaints — a second address would only mean complaints bounce.

What you can complain about
- • A price on our site that did not match the store's price.
- • A comparison you believe is misleading, or a price that looks wrong.
- • Any privacy question, including a belief that we hold personal data about you (we do not, but we will verify and answer).
- • A store link that led somewhere unexpected.
The two clocks that apply
| Regime | Acknowledgement | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| IT Rules, 2021 · Rule 3(2) | 24 hours | 15 days |
| E-Commerce Rules, 2020 · Rule 4(5) | 48 hours | One month |
We answer to the shorter of the two clocks in every case, so a complaint is acknowledged inside 24 hours and answered inside 15 days.
What we can and cannot do
We can correct our comparison data, fix a link, and answer questions about how the site works. We cannotprocess refunds, cancel orders or intervene in a purchase — the transaction is entirely between you and the store, and the store's own consumer-support channels govern it.
If the store will not resolve it
Your dispute is with the seller, and you do not need our permission to escalate it. The National Consumer Helpline is the government's own front door: register the complaint on the NCH portal, by phone on 1915, or on WhatsApp and SMS at 8800001915. It forwards the grievance to the company and lets you track the response.
If the amount is small and the seller is unresponsive, a District Consumer Commission filing is the next step; a lawyer is not required. Our grievance officer will supply any record we hold about your complaint — usually nothing beyond your own email — to support that filing.
The address above is the same one published on the contact page — support@pricewiseindia.com. There is no second mailbox. What we store, and refuse to store, is on the privacy page.
