One cookie, and it is not yours

Browsing and comparing sets nothing. The only cookie this application ever writes belongs to the private admin console and is never sent to a visitor.

1. What we set on the public site

Name	Purpose	Who gets it	Lifetime
pw_admin_session	Holds a SHA-256 token so the operator stays signed in to the private console. It contains no personal data.	The operator only, after a password login	7 days
none	Shoppers: no analytics, no advertising, no fingerprinting, no consent banner needed because there is nothing to consent to.	—	—

2. What stays on your device instead

Your compare tray, your recently viewed list and your dismissed install prompt are kept in localStorage and sessionStorage, not in cookies. They never leave your browser and we cannot read them. Clearing site data removes them.

3. What the store sets after you tap through

The moment you follow a store link you are on that marketplace's site under its own cookie policy, and it will usually set a tracking cookie so a later purchase can be attributed to the referrer. That cookie is the store's, not ours; we cannot read it, set it, or delete it from here.

We disclose this because the Flipkart Affiliate Programme terms require a publisher to state, “either through a privacy policy or otherwise”, that third parties including advertisers may serve content and collect information directly from visitors, and may place or recognise cookies on visitors' browsers.

4. Refusing cookies

• Block third-party cookies in your browser settings; every mainstream browser supports it and the comparison pages keep working.
• Use a private window if you want the session discarded when you close it.
• Nothing on this site breaks if you refuse everything, because the public site sets nothing.

5. The law this page answers to

• IT Rules, 2021, r.3(1)(a) — publish the rules, privacy policy and user agreement for access to the computer resource.
• DPDP Act, 2023, s.5 — a notice stating what is processed and why; here, the answer is nothing beyond what is described above.
• Flipkart Affiliate Programme T&C — disclosure that third parties may place or recognise cookies.
